Rasawek is a former settlement in Fluvanna County, Virginia, recorded by the USGS Geographic Names Information System as a historical populated place.
What awaits
Chief village of the Monacan confederacy situated in the fork of the Rivanna River and James River. The land includes the location of a 12-foot-high mound, excavated in 1783, that held the remains of roughly a thousand men, women, and children.
