What awaits
Mining camp and townsite reported by Gill (1920, p. 99), Cornell University, in 1918. The camp was so named beacuse of its association with the nearby ” “chrome ore mine” which began operation in 1917. The camp is now abandoned. The original Indian name was “Toqakvik.”
