Blaha
Blaha is a former settlement or camp in Bon Homme County, South Dakota, recorded by the USGS Geographic Names Information System.
What awaits
Ghost town; Named for town founder Bartolomej Blaha who sold 40 acres of his land for a town site. A railroad siding named Newberg was established here by the Chicago, Milwaukee and St Paul railroad, but the community and post office were named Blaha. An intense wind storm and fire destroyed most of the business district and the town gradually faded in existence.
