Seventymile is a former settlement or camp in Southeast Fairbanks (CA), Alaska, recorded by the USGS Geographic Names Information System.
What awaits
This mining camp was named by prospectors for the stream on which it was located and reported in 1898 by E. C. Barnard, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). It was deserted a few years later by the prospectors at news of other gold strikes.
