Camp Cody
Camp Cody is a former settlement or camp in Wasco County, Oregon, recorded by the USGS Geographic Names Information System.
What awaits
Camp Cody is a Youth Conservation Corps installation and was established in 1974 on the north shore of Rock Creek Reservoir. It was originally a private logging camp known as Codys Camp for its owner, Bill Cody. Mr. Cody had been logging in the area for many years and had built an entire community including roadways. The site was abandoned in the early 1970s and what remained was later included in the present camp.
